All eyes on TS Dolly!

Right now all over the news and freeway signs you see reminders of a tropical storm in the gulf. We are not going to get the direct impact but they are saying we will feel the outerbands and strong winds tomorrow and Thursday! They are predicting Dolly to develope into a Cat 1 Hurricane. They are also predicting landfall for south Texas/northern Mexico! I have family there. They are further inland but they to will feel the effects. They are asking for all of us near the coast to fill up gas tanks! I am going to. I am about an hour or less from Galveston! I am not taking any chances. I am not freaking out about it but you know how it goes. You seemed to get bleeped when you are unprepared. So we will just have to wait and see. I took some pics of how it is outside right now and a sign on the freeway asking us to fill up our gas tanks. Today is pretty windy. Actually really windy! I opened my car door and it flew wide open with me still hanging on to it. LOL! I am keeping a close eye on it tonight!




Today is a very beautiful day kinda of cloudy and windy! Hopefully it won't get to bad here. We need the rain but no power outages!

Busy Day!

Today was a busy busy day! I started off today buy taking Kate to swimming camp that lasted for an hour! We rushed home to shower and eat. I took Kate to gymnastics camp! After I dropped her off I was off to the Dr myself. By this time I am exhausted. I was at the Dr's for an hour. (very unpleasant of course). As if that wasn't enough she wanted blood from me. Great! Another half an hour taken away. Not to mention my trip to the pharmacy and target. OMG! Today was run around all day! I was able to come home and relax for about 40 minutes and then run run until about 6:30! And my day started at 8am! I have been busy but not like this. I am glad this day is over!
Kate's camp theme this week is magic week. They had a local magician come over and perform for the kids today. I managed to sneak some pics before it was over!

Bellobration!

I took Kate to the circus for the first time today! Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey The Greatest Show On Earth Presents Bellobration! It was an awesome show that lasted over 2 hours on top of the open house show. Kate loved it. This is one of the few moments where I think it's good to be on the mainland for this kinda of stuff! And then I snap back in to reality because I missed the weather in Hawaii while standing in line to get in. HAHA! It was friggin hot today! I took a few pics with my camera phone because my smart self forgot my camera at home! (damn)!

Swim class!

Kate had her second swimming lesson today! It was awesome! Last week there was like 4 kids total in her class and only one teacher! Today it was just her with a different teacher but he was great!It was like her own private lesson!:) He got her to start floating on her own and letting her go to float up and swim more. She is doing great. She starts going to swim camp this and next week. I am so excited! I managed to sneak a pic with my camera phone through the glass window! It's not the best but at least I have one! LOL!

Guppies to Puppies!

Guppies to puppies was the theme this week at Kate's camp! Her gymnastics school is having weekly camps for the entire summer! I enrolled her in 3 total! This was her first week! She loved it. She was there from 1-4 everyday this week. Not to mention I had a blast as well.LOL! They had a variety of animals come and visit the kids and people from shelters and pet stores came to visit as well. I just love the fact of Kate being a social child. She used to be so shy and cry when ever I would leave her with someone! She is still kinda of shy when she first meets you. But it is a different kinda of shy. I have to say I feel very accomplished in that department. Before I use to feel that I had not socialized her enough and I did wrong by keeping her home for 3 years! But I am making up for that this year! Her next weeks of camp are in August. Next week she starts swimming camp and she will do that for the next 2 weeks on top of her swimming lessons on Saturday! I am going to be exhausted when this month is over.

Busy weekend!

The weekend was pretty busy for us! Well I tried to keep us busy as possible. Don't know why if this month is going to be busy as hell.

On Friday I took my mom for her 6 week check up. It's been 6 weeks already! WOW! Kate hasn't been an any kind of activities for about 3 weeks so I decided to take her to play putt putt! We took her once back in Hawaii but she wasn't even 2 then! So this was like her first real time! She loved it! It was friggin hot but totally worth it.

Saturday was her first swimming lesson! I enrolled her last month in this swimming program. She did really good! She is doing so much better around new people! She loved the swimming class. I don't have any pics because you watch them on a TV in a different room. It's better this way so the kids will have no distractions from us! The best part of this is it is an indoor pool. Rain or shine class won't be canceled. She has four 1 hour classes total! Yes this is on top of her swim camp for 2 weeks. That starts the week after this week!
Tomorrow she starts another camp at her gymnastics school! She will go this whole week from 1-4. I am stoked for the couple of hours I will have to myself! But that will be a whole new different blog!
Today was a typical Sunday! I went to my moms and hung out with family. I am looking forward to this week! YAY!!!!

Kate's first Joke!

Well yesterday Kate comes up to me and said mama I say knock knock and you say who's there. I am like ok. So she puts the pillow in front of me and and she said knock knock and I said who's there. She said angus and I was like angus who. She said angus angus means but! LOL!!! Not funny but I was just impressed she said a joke. And I have no idea where she got the word angus from. I am pretty sure it was from a bk commercial or something like that! I know I sound silly but I am realizing my baby is growing up. I still can't believe she will be 4 in less than a month! Well I just wanted to share Kate's first joke with you guys! I am just sorry that Leo missed it.
