Another month down Baby!:)

I can't believe another month down! I can only hope this month will go by as fast as the last one did! I believe it will be July 21st that will be considered 7and 1/2 months down and half way there.Although my frg leader wrote on an email that half way there was in the middle of June! Something about if you add the days in 15 months and then divide them by 2 it would give you like the middle of June! I will have to look at the email closely and do the math! But any way month wise I consider it half way there this month!YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The month started off OK I guess! I was just happy to start the month! Thursday i went to the galleria mall! I went looking for some old friends at a restaurant I use to work at. Bennigan's!!!! Kate and I went in for lunch. I happened to spot one of my old friends back from 1997! That is the year I starting working for Bennigan's! I hadn't sen him since 1999 after they closed the first one I worked at. I asked to be seated in his section! His surprise when he came and asked what I wanted to drink! Old times! There was another old friend working there from the last Bennigan's I worked at before going to Hawaii! I should of got pictures of all us but with all the excitement and catching up it totally slipped my mind! DAMN!! I will take some next time! That mall is huge! 3 floors and miles and miles of stores. Kate and I walked around for 3 hours never hitting the same store twice! It also has an ice skating ring! I almost took Kate in it but I didn't feel brave enough to hold her on my own. Maybe when Leo gets home! Here is a pic of Kate near the weird waterfall in the middle of the mall!

The 4th was pretty boring for us. The day started off raining which made it even more boring. Those kinda of days you just want to spend in bed! We did go out and rent movies and I was really bad and had food from California Pizza kitchen for dinner. So good and so bad at the same time! So Kate and I just watched movies together and ate pizza! At night we had front row seats from my porch to the fireworks. I live on the second floor which made it even more fun to watch! Kate and enjoyed it and thought the fireworks were awesome!

Yesterday Kate received her first letter for lending her Papa for this deployment! She was thrilled that Scooby Doo himself wrote her a letter. She loves Scooby Doo! The letter is now on the fridge hanging up with tons of magnets! Thank you!!!!!

Webcam/Wall-e

For the first time through out this bleeping deployment I got to see my hubby on the webcam! We got to see each other on Wednesday!! :) It was bitter sweet as it was wonderful to see him again and hard not to have him home or be able to touch him! He looks great. He was all sweaty but still looked yummy! LOL! I was hesitant for him to see me as he has no idea I am doing this diet. I don't want him to see me until he gets off that plane. I managed to let my hair down and put it in front like covering my boobies. I also only put the camera half way! Clever huh? lol! We were not on there for to long because the stupid thing cut us off. I am not complaining!!! This is probably the only time we will do it but I am very grateful we did.. Best thing ever invented I must say!

I took Kate yesterday to see Wall-e.. It was a very cute movie! Not very much talking during the first 40 minutes or so but very cute! We liked it. Kate laughed a lot and had a great time! We both did!

Busy Week!

This week was very busy and full of appointments for me! Monday Kate started her very first art class! I found this school that has weekly camps for her. I enrolled her in art to see how she would like it and she loved it. It was from 10:30 to 11:30 every morning this week! They did a different project everyday! Here is some of her work!

Everyday they were able to use different things like rocks and glue or scissors and paint!



Well art class took up all week. My brother takes up Mondays and Wednesdays! I have to take him to the medical center on those days at 4 clock for this study that he is in.
Thursday Kate went to the dentist. I was not looking forward to the visit as we had done it before and it was a disaster. This week I coached her and explained to her the reasons and stuff like that. So she seemed pretty comfortable with the idea. We went in and she did great. I went in with her you know for all the questions they have to ask. They scheduled her first cleaning. For that she went in by herself and I heard no screaming down the hall. YAY!!!!!!She loved it. Well she also likes their office. It has video games a theater room and a computer room. And for the moms while we wait they have massage chairs. AAAAAAHHHHHH! Here are some pics of Kate at the dentist!

This one made me laugh so hard. At the end the Dr told her to bite down so he could see her teeth.. So she did. The funny part was she would not stop biting down until we left the room. Even after the Dr left she still had this face. I would tell her Kate you can be done now and she still would not stop doing this face. Oh tears were down my face from laughter. She did so good in there!
Ah TGIF! I took Kate to parents survival night and headed off to the movies. I know alone at the movies on a Friday night. No one wanted to go see the same movie I did! I went to go see Sex and the City!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome movie!!! Loved it! Thanks Jamie! I have never watched the seasons before and I kinda of thought it was a very stupid show but not anymore. The movie completely changed my mind! It was awesome. Have to watch seasons now!! LOL!
I had a good scare last night. We had some nasty weather come through yesterday! I was on one of the news website and saw the picture and it said possible twister over Pearland. My jaw dropped!!! I read where they spotted the funnel cloud and it was Beltway 8 and 288. I drive on this freeway everyday! Not to mention this is like 10 minutes from my house! AHHH!I had just passed by there earlier right before the storm hit. I had the closet and flashlights ready. Luckily nothing major happened. But I will say I was terrified.. Never been that close before! We are in for more of this weather this afternoon. They say it won't be as bad as yesterday but we will just have to wait and see! I managed to take a picture from the website of the funnel cloud!

Technology!

I am finally kinda of caught up with technology.. Yesterday I went and bought a webcam! LOL!! I am finally the shit! It took me long enough. Well I figured it out by myself. See I am computer retarded. I can only do your basic crap on it.. I am very excited to use it soon but of course by husband has been online the past 3 day before this.. Why did I think he would be on today.. I only bought a webcam and I was only planning to moon him! LOL! J/K. Plus Jamie made a good point. What if the picture freezes right on my ass. Could you imagine! HAHAHAHA! Stuff like this happens to us all the time. LOL! Yesterday the webcam he got on to use didn't want to work on our turn. It worked just fine for the soldier before him. Well now we play the waiting game to see when we can use it. For now I am going to let Kate use to see Rachel and Aidan. She misses them and talks about them all the time! I love technology! Now if I can just keep up with it! HAHA!

Kung Fu Panda!

Today I took Kate to watch the Panda movie..We haven't been to the movies in a while. The last movie we went to go see was Alvin and the Chipmunks. Well the movie was awesome.. We thought it was really funny.. The next one coming out is Walle I think and that one looks funny also! Here are some pics of Kate at movies!

Single digits Baby!! uuuah uuuuah!

OMG!!! We made it to the single digit countdown! 6 down 9 to go!!!! 9 baby!! Hell yeah! And 2 months to go for R&R! After R&R it will be 7 to go. Oh yeah! This week has been kinda of crazy. I have only heard from my hubby once this week. He sent me a few emails on myspace. Still very gratefull for anything I can get. I am just so glad we are moving right along! 6 months have passed!!!! Happy dance!!


As I mentioned on another blog my mom had surgery on her shoulder. They had to repair her rotator cuff or something along those lines. So I have been going back n fourth to help my mom.

On another note my hubby and I celebrated our We met 5 years ago in person anniversary! For the ones who don't know we met on the internet 5 years ago in Feb. He flew out from Hawaii June 1st to come see me for the first time. He landed in Houston on June 2nd. We thought it wasn't going to happen because a lot of shit happened that day. From his debit card being stolen and being delayed for 2 flights. But he finally got to Houston and the rest is history I guess! We married 4 months later. So we kinda don't have a first date anniversary we have when I first saw you anniversary! I still can't believe it was 5 years ago!

June (I am so glad you are here) I think!

First I want to start off by saying I am glad May is bleeping over! I thought after April we would get May flowers.. But no we got May Shit! Well the first 2 days of the month having been all that great but not all that bad either. June 1st nothing new. Kate and I just hung out at my mom's for our last Sunday home cooked meal by her. She had surgery today on her right shoulder. I don't remember exactly what she had done but her shoulder will be out of commission for about 6 weeks. She is doing ok. She had a little complication with the anestisia(don't know if I spelled that right) but is ok tonight. She is not in much pain right now but her shoulder is still numb. So we shall see how she feels tomorrow! These next few weeks coming up should be pretty interesting.

Also today was my brothers 26th birthday! He was the one that took and picked up my mom from her surgery! My sister and brother are the same age right now until Friday when my sis turns 27. (crazy huh)!

My princess graduated from gymnastics today! Today was the last day of gymnastics. She started back in January! They did their normal class with the difference that we were allowed inside to take pictures. Normally we watch through a glass window. Today was show off week. After their normal class was done they each when up to recieve a graduation medal.. Kate's first medal!!! YAY!!! I took lots of pictures and video of course for Papa to see! I enrolled her for tap and ballet for fall semester! She will also be going to camp in July and August for a couple of weeks there also.. Here are some pics of Kate on her last day of flip school!
